Things to Know

Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking it myself?

Group travel involves complex logistics, from coordinating flights and accommodations to managing preferences, payments, and last-minute changes. As your travel advisor I handle all the details, negotiates rates, and ensures a smooth experience so you can focus on enjoying the trip, not managing it. Please note that I cannot manage elements that I do not book myself.

Do you charge a planning fee?

For individual travelers, we do charge a planning fee. However, for group travel, a single planning fee is billed to the corporate sponsor or group organizer—covering all coordination, communication, and customization for the entire group. This ensures a streamlined, efficient planning process with no surprise costs for your participants.

Can you help us get group discounts or special perks?

Yes! As a travel advisor, I have access to exclusive group rates, complimentary rooms, room upgrades, resort credits, early check-in/late check-out, and more through industry partners and preferred suppliers.

What types of group travel do you specialize in?

I plan a wide range of group trips including corporate retreats, incentive travel, multi-generational family vacations, destination weddings, milestone celebrations, and special interest trips like culinary tours or photography safaris. All of it custom and no two trips have ever been the same.

Do you manage payments and communication for everyone in the group?

Absolutely. I can provide individual payment plans, handle invoicing, send travel updates, and serve as the main point of contact so each traveler gets personal support—without overwhelming the group organizer.

Can you customize the experience for different interests in the group?

Yes! I tailor activities, excursions, dining, and downtime to match the group’s needs. Whether it’s mixing business with leisure or balancing adventure with relaxation, I design a flexible itinerary that works for everyone. I can treat each family as both an individual traveler AND part of the group.

I have questions about international travel. Where can I look?

We have a private password protected section for clients that answers all these questions. Plus on your group travel page, we include destination specific info. I am also available to be the contact person to answer guest questions.

What happens if something goes wrong during the trip?

If a flight is delayed, a room isn’t ready, or an excursion is cancelled, I’m here to advocate for you and resolve the issue quickly. With a travel advisor, you’re never navigating problems alone—we’re your support before, during, and after the trip.
